Sweetie's pot: contains the bean plant from her class at the library and three tiny strawberry plants. All four of her bean plants actually grew, but, entertainingly, one of them took a week longer than the other three because it started growing upside-down... the roots were sticking up out of the soil! But the plant just kept growing around and eventually came up the normal way. After that, we transplanted it into this pot, and I covered all the roots. In this picture you can also see the sticks that we're using as support for the beans... they're bush beans, so they don't need a trellis, but the sticks are helpful.
